The St. Ulrich parish church holds the reputation of being one of the most beautiful Rococo churches in the Allgäu. Lovingly called the “kleine Wies” by Germany’s first ever President, Professor Dr. Theodor Heuß, during his many visits in the first half of the fifties, our church St. Ulrich was also visited in 2004 by Germany’s President, Dr. Horst Köhler and his wife. The couple were greatly moved by the beauty of this house of God. In order to secure its beauty the church was completely restored and reopened on December 2nd, 2007.
